Kubota Air Conditioner’s first goal is “to make your air environment more comfortable” and our business is the development, manufacturing, sales and maintenance of AHU for industry.

In recent years, in addition to striving to create products that deliver customer satisfaction, we have also tackled various issues such as energy-saving as action for the global environment.

We use the technology and services we have cultivated over many years to respond to the various air conditioning needs and we use our large range of products to deliver comfortable air environments. This includes in locations where a large number of people gather, such as offices, hotels and public facilities, and in locations that require extremely clean air, such as hospitals, factories and research laboratories.

Maintenance business

Periodic inspection implementation
We implement periodic inspections to enable the long-term use of the AHU without concern.
Overhaul implementation
We perform the replacement and repair of major components.
Updating of parts or entire systems
If it becomes necessary to replace an entire AHU system, we propose the possible methods for the construction work and perform the restoration work.

Research equipment

Fan performance testing equipment (AMCA test standard)
2,000 m3/h to 100,000 m3/h fans can be measured quickly and accurately in wide-ranging fan performance testing.
Acoustic test room
The sound power level and machine side sound on AHU can be measured accurately by using reverberation and anechoic chambers.
Environmental testing lab
The environment inside the room can be changed by changing the temperature and amount of solar radiation in the outside air condition room. This test room can be used for environmental testing and control characteristic testing.
Calorimeter room
Testing such as coil performance, humidifier performance, total heat exchange and desiccant rotor performance testing can be performed in two laboratories that create precise temperature and humidity conditions. It is also possible to perform condensation tests for AHU.

A production base creating reliable products

Ever since the start of our air conditioning business in 1970, all of the Kubota AHU have been made in integrated production at our Tochigi Plant. The plant has a range of equipment with multiple adaptations to be able to produce the high quality products required by customers with high efficiency. It continues to supply superior air conditioning products which pursue both performance and reliability, with a process that starts from the optimal selections by a computer and goes through design using CAD, production utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and many steps of strict quality management.

An
R&D center creating the next-generation air environment

The “Technical Center” that has been built at the Tochigi Plant is a research facility dedicated to air conditioning. The Center pursues the development of a comfortable and safe next-generation air environment and has top-level air conditioning industry equipment such as a calorimeter that can accurately measure the thermal capacity of an AHU, an environmental testing lab that can freely create temperature conditions throughout the year, and other facilities such as an acoustic test room, AMCA fan performance test equipment and gas removal test equipment.
